Driving Directions
We are situated near Tai Tapu in Otahuna Road, twenty minutes drive south of Christchurch.
From Christchurch take State Highway 75 through Halswell towards Tai Tapu and Akaroa.
Approximately 6km past Hallswell, turn left into Golf Links Rd, with the Golf Course on the corner.
Go over the one lane bridge and turn right. Take the next left into Rhodes Rd.
Continue past Otahuna Lodge at the end of Rhodes Rd, go around the loop, past the Otahuna trade entrance and look for the big Gibralter sign on your left where Rhodes Road becomes Otahuna Road.
Turn into the road following the Gebralter signtill you come to a closed metal gate. Open the gate and go straight ahead.
Follow the signs to the trekking base.
