At both Otahuna and Mt. Lyford we offer many opportunities for learning about connection with horses using natural horsemanship.

Bryan McVicar

We have a four Day Clinics with Bryan at Mt Lyford in fantastic surroundings. We usually have these twice a year in March and November. You may do the first two days only, which is over the weekend. Stay on and let us take you over our magnificent alpine trails. Bryan is an outstanding teacher and horseman and we are so lucky to have him in our midst. You can bring your own horse or take one of ours. Good grazing facilities available. Comfortable affordable accommodation is near by.

Ken Faulkner

We have Ken Faulkner coming across from Brisbane usually February to run a 4 day clinic at Tai Tapu. Ken is one of the World’s best trainers in Natural Horsemanship, and this is always a very inspiring clinic. Our horses are available to ride in the clinic from us for $50.00 per day.

A New initiative by Abi Ricketts

You are welcome to do a full day or half day and we will start off by revising the basics. There will be an opportunity to be assessed for certificates (PNH or ANH).
